We offer a guided duck hunts at Moody Ranch in Navasota, Texas. Moody Ranch offers a unique change from “Texas Prairie” hunts that so many are accustomed to. Here you will be away from the crowds and hunting in flooded timber, flooded fields, and large reservoirs along the Navasota River. All hunts come with a guide, decoys, professionally trained dogs, and transportation to and from the blind. It is conveniently a turn-key operation meant for the “insert hunter here” in mind.
The most common ducks shot in this area are: Mallards, Wood ducks, Teal, Gadwall, Widgeon, Pintail, Shoveler, Ringnecks, Red Heads, and Canvasbacks. It is not uncommon to shoot most of these in a single hunt. |
